چکیده

INTRODUCTION:
The most common dislocation presenting to emergency department is anterior shoulder dislocation. Posterior dislocations and inferior are rare. Dislocations of the mostly occur with position arm abducted externally rotated. This results in injury humeral head, labrum, capsuloligamentous structures glenoid. Such patients experience severe pain, therefore prompt reduction necessary ameliorate pain. Intravenous analgesia combined sedation or intra-articular lidocaine injection can be used for closed Due its side effects, Intra-articular (IAL) recommended use as a probable alternative intravenous sedation-analgesia especially contraindication sedation-analgesia.
 OBJECTIVE:
To compare versus sedative analgesic management terms mean pain using VAS during joint.
 STUDT DESIGN:
 Randomized controlled trial (RCT).
 SETTING: Removed blind review
 DURATION: 6 months (November 22nd, 2017 May 21st, 2018)
SAMPLE SIZE: 60 (30 each group)
RESULTS: We included sixty my study. 19 (31.7%) were females 41 (68.3%) male patients. Out all 38 (63.3%) had right sided dislocation, while rest 22 (36.7%) left dislocation.
 Patients age was 33.27±10.535 years score 4.966±1.930. Group A 4.200±1.648, B 5.733±1.910 (p value = 0.002. Stratification done according gender group patients, post-stratification t-test applied.

Intra-articular lidocaine versus intravenous meperidine/diazepam in anterior shoulder dislocation: a randomised clinical trial.

BACKGROUND Anterior shoulder dislocation is one of the most common complaints of patients referred to emergency departments. Intravenous opiates and benzodiazepines are traditionally prescribed in order to relieve the pain in this group of patients; however, complications always pose a problem.
